24" BRUNO SCHMIDT CHARACTER DOLL: Beautiful antique german bisque doll created by the german manufacturer Bruno Schmidt..... circa 1898. A big 24" in height. She has a wonderful character face with nice modeling, especially around her cheeks. Nice desirable pale bisque with nice pink shading on cheeks. Fully marked on head with the heart mark of the Bruno Schmidt company. Open mouth with teeth and tongue. Fully working blue sleep eyes enhanced not only with painted upper and lower lashes by mohair lashes as well. Beautiful light brown antique mohair wig still retaining it's curls over cardboard pate. On her original german, fully jointed composition body with the red outline still showing on the toes and some minor repaint on the lower arms and hands. Wearing an exquisite antique linen dress in taupe with lace and light blue silk ribbon trim. On her head a matching bonnet.
