NEW - "PRICELESS GIFT" BY JACQUELINE KENT: Beautifully crafted 12 1/2" doll by artist Jacqueline Kent. This lovely representation of an older woman is part of her "Town Folk" series of doll. The head, hands of feet are modeled from a resin type material and the body is made of cloth. Doll is poseable and sits on a tree stump atop a simulated cobblestone area. On the ground around her is a loaf of bread, and some cut logs. On her lap is a wooden tray filled with bird seed atop which sit two feeding birds. Lovely depiction of an older lady feeding the birds !! Original packaging, limited edition papers and JK gold stamp. ............... $90

Each doll is about 9" tall not including their headgear and depict the actual dressing for dolls in different French provinces..... perfect for the collector who likes dolls from many lands in native costumes. The dolls themselves are made of plastic with painted faces. The doll costumes are all very colorful ! New condition............ Price - $25

This doll represents a trinket seller. She is holding a black straw basket filled with jewelry strands. Sitting on a concrete cobblestone step she has her paisley carpet bag by her side. Her hair is long and grey with black streaks and is covered by a magenta scarf. Perched on her nose are a pair of glasses. Lovely folk character artistically created.
